A Week of Diwali Celebrations.....

Here at preschool we have had wonderful week of Diwali celebrations. Mrs Sekar started the week off for us with her own exciting narration of how they celebrate with family and friends by visiting the temple, wearing new clothes, exchanging presents, eating special foods such as milk sweets, coconut burfis and also celebrating with firework display. This week children made clay Divas, created Diwali cards using patterned wooden blocks. We had a visitor come and draw henna patterns on the children's hand and make memorable experience for the children.
